MCAT Test Writing Section I

This part of the MCAT Test asks you to write 2 essays on 2 separate topics within 30 minutes on each.  Be sure to understand the proper development of an essay.  Brainstorm quickly and stick to your main key points.  It is recommended that you develop a two to four paragraph essay during this writing assignment on the MCAT test.

The link on the right hand side of this website offers excellent help with the writing section on the MCAT test.  Use appropriate grammar, capitalization, and punctuation during your essay.  The main points are flow and presentation.  You may include a personal example, however, do not make it extremely personal.  Moreover, do not apologize in the essay if you feel you are demonstrating poor use of the English language on the MCAT test.

You will not be allowed to choose from a list of topics.  You will be required to write on just the single topic given.
